the bambina's room

I still have 2 more days: one to finish the grass and clouds and the other to paint bugs!! ladybugs and butterflies!!

what a relaxing vacation

Tuesday - started cooking for Thanksgiving, and tried to finish reading Twilight

Wednesday - cooked all day S3 read Twilight to me as I was cooking, and when I had a break I would read. S2 & BB came after their doctor's visit and the bambina is good. S4 was in AR hunting, but GF was there. I made GF spit tea out her nose. It was fabulous.

Thursday - an entire day with hubby! bought Christmas lights - compromised, had a panic attack about the Christmas lights, went to see 4 Christmases, went out looking at Christmas lights to try to figure out what we wanted our lights to look like.

Friday - another entire day with hubby! bought a tiara (who doesn't need one), searched for nonexistant Christmas lights, shopped, put up some Christmas light, couldn't climb on the roof, saw Twilight w/S3, talked to S4 & GF. End of 2 days with hubby.

Saturday - went to T,TX painted bambina's room and visited with DM. I miss DM wish I got to see her more.

I hope that tomorrow is less eventful, though with lesson plans, powerpoints and housework, I may need to wait until vacation is over to get some rest! :)

This is a picture of what you would get if you crossed a cherry and a jelly fish. Why are you laughing?

Crazy day

Today I went to my sisters to paint her nursery, since fumes + pregnant lady = bad idea. On the way there I was behind a truck that had a live raccon in the back. It was very amusing, because it looked like this raccon was being toted around like a pet, when I passed the truck, I saw that the raccon was actually recently trapped. A mile or so later I passed a freshly killed raccon on the side of the road. I was tempted to wait and see if the guy was going to stop and get that one as well.

LOL Movies

Yesterday, I saw two of the funniest movies I have seen in a while. Hubby and I went to see Role Models at the theather, I thought it would be amused, but I think it is possibly the funniest movie I have seen in a very long time. Then we came home and watched Kung Fu Panda, well, actually I watched and he slept, but it was another winner. I highly suggest that you see both as soon as possible.

The best pizza ever

This past weekend I was in Ft. Worth for the science teacher nerd convention, and a group of us went to Unos. If you have not been, go and try the farmer's market pizza - it's fabulous.

I so enjoyed my time in Ft. Worth, looking forward to going back.
